Description

The project consisted of the construction of a WWTP designed to address the discharges of a population equivalent to 1,224,720 inhabitants. It is located next to the Culebro stream, in the municipalities of Getafe and Pinto, and occupies an approximate area of 12 hectares.

Responsible

The project also includes the recovery of electrical energy from the biogas obtained from the digestion of sludge.

Highlights

• The WWTP has an energy self-supply system based on the biogas produced in the treatment of the sludge generated in the purification process.
