Description

FCC Construcción and the CICSA operator (division of infrastructure and construction of the Carso Group), completed the design, construction and subsequent maintenance for the extension of the first and second sections of the Inter-American Highway (Panama).

Section II. Highway widening works to create six lanes for vehicular traffic between Santa Cruz and San Carlos, in the province from Panama Oeste. The highway works were 21.8 kilometers and includes the design of two exchanges to improve the connections. The highway widening and connection works will enhance accessibility to the interior regions of Panama, thus aiding and enabling national tourism.
