Construction of Los Cabos Junction, Mexico

Construction of Los Cabos Junction, Mexico

The project involved the building of the Cabo San Lucas ring road interchanges in San José del Cabo, located in the Mexican state of Baja California.

FCC built branches of the highway, between km.  0+000 to km. 27+484.64, which connects the inner highway with the cities of San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, which required the construction of four road junctions (El Mangle, San Lucas, San José and Corral de Piedra). These branches measure 6.5 and 6.6 kilometres respectively.

The section is 14 metres wide and has two 3.5 m-wide lanes for each direction of traffic with a top speed of 110 km/h. The interchanges cut through flat land ensuring minimum environmental impact on the area.
